Rewrite an email without losing your voice

Make a message clearer while keeping it recognizably yours.

How to do it

Write your draft first. Remove private details, ask for a gentler or clearer version, then compare every sentence with what you meant to say. Copy only the parts that sound like you.

Prompt to try

Please make this email clearer and a little warmer. Keep it straightforward, do not add promises or facts, and stay close to my wording: [paste a draft with names and private details removed].

A fictional example

Jon writes to a neighbor about a noisy evening. The chatbot adds “no problem at all”; Jon deletes that phrase because it is not what he means.

Keep private

Replace names, addresses, phone numbers, and any confidential work information before pasting.

Before you rely on the answer

Read the revised email aloud. Check dates, requests, tone, and any commitment before sending.
